Late to Shift Gears

I had to change gears earlier.
Once a car started, I didn't need to wait for it to pick up speed with the car in low gear.
I had to change gears into second right away. After reaching a corner and running on a straight road, I had to stamp on the accelerator daringly for a short time and soon shifted the car into third.
On a straight road I had to stamp on the accelerator and when I came close to a corner, I had to put my foot on the brake pedal continually.
While putting my foot on the brake pedal lightly, I had to depress the clutch pedal and put the car into second gear before I reachd a corner.
While turning the handle, I mustn't have controlled anything with my foot. I was apt to keep depressing the clutch pedal while turning a corner so that the car won't decelerate.
